Great Picture in bright rooms!
We have Windows galore in the living room. With my prior TV, we just didn't watch much on Sunny days, went into the darker family room. This new 95S in the living room was spectacular even when the sun was shining directly on the screen.

It's a TV
The resolution was much better on the display model at the store. It wasn't as crisp at home. The user interface is not intuitive. I'd give it an average rating.

Great contrast and depth of field!
I love the depth of field of the picture. Many shows are very dark and hard to see on the older tv's. Now I can see better contrast and can actually watch a show that has dark settings.

This TV is a perfectionist’s dream. The external design is stunning—the panel is as thin as a sheet of paper. The "One Connect Box" is a game-changer; having a single, thin, transparent cable running to the TV makes it incredibly easy to hide wires. Whether it’s on its stylish metal stand or mounted on the wall, it looks like a piece of art in the room. The Screen: The matte, anti-glare finish is fantastic, and the deep blacks are exactly what you expect from a top-tier OLED. Pure praise and admiration here. Smart Features & OS: SmartThings Hub: An unobvious but cool feature is that the TV acts as a SmartThings hub. Even without Z-Wave support, it’s great for controlling smart devices. OS: The system is smooth, fast, and easy to configure. Remote: The SolarCell remote is sleek and minimalist. Room for Improvement: I wish the specific app buttons (Netflix, Disney, etc.) were customizable. It would be much better if I could map them to open SmartThings or switch to a specific HDMI port. Also, if Samsung added environmental sensors (temperature, humidity, air quality) directly into the TV, it would be the ultimate home device. Verdict: Honest 5 stars. It is the jewel of the living room.

Samsung S95D 77 inch oled : very bad durability
bought the samsung S95d 77 oled! amazing tv in terms of of visuals . best i’ve seen . except it has one mayor dow. i bought it in August 2025 and once connect box died in december 2025. one connect box has died again about a month later this january 2026 . design flaw. but the oled panel is amazing . wish that one connect box was rectified by samsung for the many that bought it and are dealing with this

The picture is the only good thing about this TV
The picture is good but the remote doesn’t work half the time. Sometimes my TV turns itself on in the middle of the night. I’ll turn captions on and as soon as I turn off the TV the captions revert back to OFF. Bixby is a joke.. it never understands what I ask . I’m being generous with the # 3 rating because I never know if I’ll be able to make the remote work or find the show that I’ve just been watching. Shouldn’t they pop up automatically if I’m watching a series? I’ve added shows to MY STUFF, but they never seem to

Sold with a year
Do not buy I sold this item with a year. Started having issues connecting to the Internet. All my other devices connected to the Wi-Fi with no problem. But this TV always has issues connecting to the Internet.
