The quality of the standard/queen pillow protectors were very poor . Comparing the king protectors which were perfect and great material. Apparently from the same company. The Serta label was on the king protectors and not on the standard.

Could not unzip or zip up the pillow protectors had to break the zipper open in order to remove the pillow from the zippered pillow cover definitely defective craftsmanship

I have purchased this exact pillow protector for years and I own several sets at any given time. And yes, Sealy rep, I do wash them according to instructions. They ALL end up with major zipper problems. They get stuck and are virtually impossible to zip closed. I also have experienced not being able to open the protectors as well. I buy them because I am a fan of the materials being used. It is a nice grade of cotton (not overly thin) and is very strong. But the zippers, c'mon Sealy start listening. We are all waiting for an improvement.

The zipper is shoddily sewn into the fabric so it cannot be zipped. Really bad quality.
