Excellent Entry Level Timepiece
I bought the Seiko Chronograph Essential as a graduation gift, and for the price, it’s an outstanding value. It doesn’t have a lot of high-end complications, but it feels like a quality watch. It’s something that could become a meaningful heirloom over time. The layout is straightforward: a standard 12-hour format with an additional 24-hour sub-dial, which is a nice touch for those who prefer military time. The chronograph feature is functional and easy to use, even if it’s not the main draw. The design stands out with a blue gloss stainless steel bezel and a gloss black dial that pair nicely together, it’s subtle, sharp and versatile. Not as contrasting and gloss black of flat black dial face. I especially like how simple the dial is to read and how easy it is to adjust the time and date. The only minor drawback is the date mechanism. It is mechanical, so on months with fewer than 31 days, you’ll need to manually advance it. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of. Overall, a solid, stylish, and dependable watch. Great for someone just starting their collection or marking a milestone.

Beautiful
I bought this for my Husband. It's going to be for Christmas. I received it fast in a secure package. When I opened it, the watch was Beautiful he's going to love it. It has some weight to it, but not so much it's going to weigh his arm down. You just can not go wrong with a Seiko!
Horrible delivery
This item is not sold by Macy’s, its sold by a third party vendor. If you order it and even pay extra for expedited shipping it will not be delivered for more than 15-20 days. The order status will stay stuck on “Processing” and Macy’s customer care will just give you hollow apologies and a promise to take note of this and follow up with this “vendor”.
