The Courtura watch from the Perpetual Chronograph collection adjusts automatically to the calendar, while the solar cell designed by Seiko can be powered by any light source.
I bought this a few days ago, I got it uncharged, I powered it up to half, so it says. I do not really know if that part works right yet, the stop what happens feature does not work, the month and leap year also do not work as they are supposed to. I bought the watch mainly for these features that do not work. I did also love the looks though too.

My wife bought the watch for my 50th birthday. I've owned a Seiko watch before. But this watch is a piece of art.
I have had my watch for over 2 years. It has been a great timepiece. Unique !
I have had this watch for over a year....the initial set up is not easy...but, from there ownership is a daily joy....very happy with my decision to buy ......the perpetual calendar is great.....one happy camper
One of the nicest watches from Seiko with good build quality, technology, stylish looks and excellent craftmanship. Lot of appreciations from friends.
I've been happy with this watch since I bought it.
Have had for a month now and keeps good time, but the day and date gets off after a couple of days. You can change these settings without pulling out the stem, so you don't know when it's happening.
