Dressy yet Rugged. Perfect.

It quickly became my favorite watch. I echo the previous reviewer that the macy's pic does not do it justice. The Hardlex glass is crystal clear and has a slight bezel on the outer edge which gives the face a unique double-vision on its circumference. altho its supposed to have a finer grain than cow, the calfskin leather band is rough and keeps crinkles too easily. might just need to be broken in more. I love the classy look next to a dark sleeve. the contrast really stands out with the tan band and chrome face. On to the rugged. I stumbled onto this watch when I started reading about watch bezels and came across the compass bezel. this function defined my style as an outdoors type of guy. Altho rarely used backpacking It sure is fun and only adds to the look of the watch. on top of that there are useful functions of a stopwatch, split timer, and 12 hr alarm. Best of all, its SOLAR POWERED! Do your homework and read about the solar maintenance. this watch takes more care because of it. wearing it on the wrist throughout the day is NOT ENOUGH to recharge the solar cell. direct sunlight is your best source altho a lamp will work as well. the crown is not screw down which limits the water resistance and the compass crown doesn't lock so you'll find the compass move around occasionally. NBD. kinda makes it feel like its a magnetic compass. I gave it 5 stars because of it's cost, style, function, and durability. Everyone is buying smart watches. No, thanks. Give me something classy and functional that will last forever instead.

Great Watch!

The picture does not do the actual watch justice. Good balance, and not too heavy. Just FYI....this watch will not clear the cuff a properly fitting dress shirt.

Bought this watch for my husband for Christmas. It's beautiful, has lots of tricks, and was a great deal for a quality product.

Great watch for all occasions.

Love the color of the leather strap. This watch can be dressed up with slacks and a dress shirt, but works just as well with jeans and a polo or t-shirt.

Great gift

I have always liked watches but never owned one like this, the color, size and design makes this one of the best watches in my collection. Worn it today and got lots of complements, now I'm looking for another one.

Very nice looking watch

Just love this watch. The band is so unique, it really makes it stand out. Everyone notices it. The feel and weight are perfect. I would recommend this watch to someone looking for something off the beaten path but it can easily hold its own anywhere.
