Unfortunately the strap is very tiny and meant only for children or people with super small wrists. If you have normal sized wrists like myself, you will either need to invest in getting new straps put on, or return it. In my case I will be returning it.
watch is dissapointing.
watch band is not good. Watch keeps falling off I would like to return for a better product.
Lovely watch but skimped on the band
I am a watch fanatic, and have many. They are my "jewelry". I like Seiko as a brand, and the appeal of not having to change batteries. The watch is lovely, the petite face is great, with the detailed dial, but the band is a full 1" shorter than the majority of my watches. I can wear it since I have small wrist, and typically have to remove links in metal bracelet type watches, but it looks skimpy. On the second hole, you can barely tuck the ends into the second "holder" to keep the end down. I like having a little more "tail" to the watchband to tuck it in. Not sure why it's so short, as I've never experienced that before. Otherwise, a beautiful watch.

I ordered this watch because I wanted a dependable, good looking watch. I'm really happy with it. It's classy, understated, and well made. I have a normal wrist and it isn't too small for me. I wear it comfortably on the second hole. There are little gold dots at the numerals, which just gives it a extra nice look, kind of delicate. Very nice watch, PLUS -no need to worry about batteries!
Watch good, strap awful
Got this for gift-giving, but the small sized watch band nixed my plan. Too tight for an average wrist. You will need to replace the watch band if you want to wear this watch!
Seiko Solar Watch
I purchased this watch over the Citizen Eco Drive for one reason only, the black strap vs. the brown offered by Citizen. I wanted a classic tank watch without the hefty price tag for work, and work is a corporate environment with most days wearing black attire. I note the watch does not have a second hand so it threw me. The band is very small, I have a 7" wrist and I am on the last whole option. With that said it is solar, so I will not need to run for battery replacement and it will be appropriate with my work attire. Also, I have plenty of Silver or Gold tone metal watches, I want a leather band for more comfort and a classic look. With that said, if Citizen produces the Eco Drive tank watch with a black strap, I will have to purchase it.
