Seat is advertised at 2 inches thick, it is less that 1/2 inch thick Diagram on chair information also states it measures 25 inches to top of seat, it is in fact only 23 inches. Too small for our counter I have contacted the seller as per Macy's return policy. Wish I had read that before ordering. We figured if anything wrong with order we could return to Macy's store
