Thank you for the comment: it helps. I would like to know what you mean by "backing". If it is a plastic/vinyl type of underlining, I prefer without it. I don't like to wash and dry cotton with other material. I will go to the store to see if they have them and verify; otherwise, I can order and return it if there is other material under. The color is beautiful. I would like to see if it is the same.
