Excellent Knife

This knife is excellent! This is what a sharp knife should be like! I wish I had bought it a long time ago. It would have made my cooking a lot easier, especially around the holidays when I had a lot of chopping to do!

Not As Expected

Somehow the knife just does not cut smoothly.

Not a Japanese knife, made in China

This knife was described as a "Japanese" professional knife. When I received it, it was clearly marked as made in China. I reviewed the listing and on the site and nowhere was it identified as made in China. I returned it.

Cheap and lightweight

This is a very lightweight knife. It's price reflects this. The edge is terrible and will wear out really fast. It wasn't overly sharp right out of the package. I did a test to see how it works against the most used veggies and fruit. I tried tomatoes and lemons and apples. It sliced through the lemons with some effort and with the tomatoes, it had trouble chopping. the apples It sliced through; again with some effort but it couldn't shop that well

Very sharp. Easy to handle. Keeps its edge. Love this knife!
