Simplehuman Replacement

Ever since we purchased our dual trash can we've gotten tons of complements on it's looks and functionality. I know there have been others who have gone out and purchased one just from seeing ours proudly displayed in our kitchen. When ours developed an issue the company didn't hesitate one moment in making it right by sending a whole new can. I can't say enough about the way this company will stand behind its products, they truly are an A+ company with excellent products.

Very pleased

I am very pleased with the sensor voice trashcan, although i never use the voice option. It’s large/wide and was packed perfectly. The back of the can has a holder for the trash bags, and it came with a free bag of trash bags. It also came with a deodorizer, that nicely snaps onto the can. You can use batteries or the plug. You will not be disappointed. No fingerprints to the touch.

Trash cab

I got my new replacement trash can from you bid December 2024. It worked perfectly and I was very happy. But 2. 5 weeks ago it began to work (ie opening and closing lid)randomly. So now the lid will remain open even after an hour. Or it won’t open at all. It’s thoroughly clean. No bumps no falls no bangs. Help me please. I love this product when it works. Also we don’t have small children so no chance of anyone messing with it

Needs Improvement

Overall, it is a nice trash can but the voice control works only sporadically; often failing to respond to the command "open can" even when the command is said clearly and distinctly. Conversely, the sensor is finicky as well. It occasionally fails to detect lid has opened when it heard the syllable "can" in an unrelated conversation. The motion sensor works fairly well. There have a few times when we have had to repeatedly waive our hand over the sensor. And the lid will open sometimes when a person walks and gets too close or is carrying something. We bought this can to replace the dual compartment Simple Human with a step lever that broke and could not be repaired. We like the dual compartment size and design, but the longevity of our new trash can is still to be determined.

Too expensive to last just 2 years

Great looking but have owned x2 of these are right now both are broken. One alms down after lifting and the other one doesn’t even lift.

Love It!

This smart designed dual compartment receptacle is a nice addition to your home kitchen. Makes trash and recycling easier and adds a nice look to an otherwise “unsexy” storage challenges. Be sure to order the custom trash bags to get the full benefits of the product!
