I have been using this watch for almost a month now and i'm still in two minds. Whilst the design is sleek and stylish the spacing between the fasteners is not ideal, it is either too loose or too tight. The features look great on paper and I especially loved the idea of being able to play and control music on my phone with the watch until it became apparent that I could only do this if i subscribed to google music and not my actual music player of choice so have been unable to actually test this feature. Working in a busy bar I was keen to find out how many steps I took over a night but unfortunately without having my phone actually on my person the watch just didn't seem to be able to manage the connection over a not so long distance and the battery life left little to be desired (dead halfway through the night based on a full charge at lunchtime). Maybe I got a faulty battery!

Small but packs a punch
I am Impressed with this watch. I like the style and the finish. I like the range of apps you can use and I like features such as calling my phone if I lose it. The set up was a little confusing as were the instructions that came with the watch. The buttons at times could be a little confusing and it would take me back to the home screen a lot by accident. After a while of getting use out of this I got used to it. Range of apps 5 out of 5 Style 5 out of 5 Ease of use 3 out of 5 Design 4 out of 5 The battery life was really good and lasted during the day! I used it for the fitness aspect too and counted steps etc. Used it to read messages via WhatsApp and texts etc I was also really happy with the magnetic charger too! A really great touch. I'd happily recommend this to friends.

Better than a Fit Bit!
Got this watch a few weeks ago and I’ve worn it everyday since! I love the large clock face, with the digital screen, it’s so easy to read and the watch itself is very light for this style of watch. The watch looks more formal than other smart watches, so it looks great with formal wotk wear. I’m not very technical and the watch was still very easy to set up; it connects to my google account - mail & calendar so I get meeting reminders straight to my watch. My favourite feature has been the step counter, which I’ve found to be more accurate than my fitbit. Even the charger is cool!

A Complete Package!!!
The Falster boasts a very sleek, attractive, minimalistic and unisex design that combines the functionality of a watch with added bonus of being a smartwatch and fitness tracker. I decided to go for the Falster as I have been looking into buying a fitness tracker/watch but am not too fond of the wristband shape which is a giveaway and screams fitness. The Falster is anything but! The large, round dial with the steel mesh strap looks smart and the button on the side is a nice touch. The Falster works on Android Wear 2.0 which was easy to setup and understand. The watch comes with 4 dial faces, and it’s easy to add more. I like the main digital face for everyday use and the Calorie Counter when working out. Each face can be further customised, by using settings function. The size of the dial makes it easy to read the details while working out, as confirmed by my friend who owns a well known brand of fitness tracker. The watch does not feel heavy on the wrist while working out. The touchscreen feature is crisp with no lags and a pleasure to use. Its easy to swipe a finger from left to right for going back or pressing the side button to go into Google Assistant. Skagen could consider including a heart rate monitor (and sleep tracking), GPS (so the phone does not needs to be nearby), ability to receive /make calls and Android/Google Pay in future upgrades. The battery needs to be charged (there is a magnetic charger provided) every night and charging does take a while, but seeing the animated man come out to pull the cable and connect it to the watch is fun. The alerts when there is an email or text or call are quite discreet. Pairing it with the phone is a breeze as the Bluetooth connectivity is strong. Despite the need for minor tweaks I LOVE the Falster.

Watch review
When i first got this watch i loved the simplicity of it which has tons of benefits. The main advantage is the Battery life. The dials that Skagen is showing off first are black with simple white text. It has such a simple design makes it more battery efficient. It was also light upon the wrist which i loved and had many features which were very useful for someone like me who goes to the gym often as i could monitor my step count. Only trouble i had was expanding the mesh strap but eventually got it to work.

Great watch but average battery life.
The Skagen Falster Steel Mesh Watch looks very impressive, when it first arrived I couldn’t believe how great it looked and I couldn’t wait to try it out. The watch was very easy to set up and connect to both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, I connected it to an IPhone 6S and didn’t have any issues. The quick set up guide that comes with the watch is OK but for more details on the uses of the watch I had to investigate on the internet. The watch itself is fairly lightweight and comfortable to wear. The touchscreen on the watch is very responsive and it has some great features such as notifications, activity tracking, weather, contacts, messages etc. It is also possible to change the display on the watch face to time or a more function based face, i.e pedometer. Even the charging is an innovative design, it is an inductive magnet charger which was very simple to use and very efficient. It is possible to change straps to customise the watch and it also has some water resistance which is another great feature. Pro’s • Very attractive looking watch and looks more expensive than it actually is. • Well built and robust • Works with both iOS and Android • Easy to set up and use Cons • For the price I would expect it to have a heart race sensor and sleep monitor • Battery performance not very good • Have to press the button quite hard sometimes Overall a great watch which with some minor improvements could be an amazing watch.
