I really liked the tile itself, but the sample is so small that it was hard to get a real feel for what it will be like on a bigger scale.

Hello, We understand your frustration however the sample size is a 4x4 inch cut section from an actual tile sheet. The samples offer the feel of the quality materials and the look of the color in the different lighting situations of your home. You may order a full size tile sheet from the website if you would like the larger view of the model.

Overall I'm pretty happy with these tiles. Installation was tricky for me because I was doing the area around my fireplace which was not level and required some challenging cuts. Once I got that figured out it was actually pretty easy and forgiving to stick it onto my existing tile. We'll see how it holds up to the heat of my gas fireplace but so far so good (only been about a week of having the fireplace on but the tiles have been up for months).
