DO NOT BUY, DOESN'T WORK

The primary concern is that the blender will only operate if constant downward pressure is applied, presumably to engage a safety mechanism or ensure proper seating. This requires me to manually push down on the blending jar or lid throughout the entire operation cycle, which is not only inconvenient and impractical but also raises safety concerns regarding the product's intended functionality. A new appliance should not require such intervention to function correctly. I will be returning this.

I ordered this blender from Macys bc they sell it with two plastic carrying bottles (other places only give it with one) The Smeg blender is fabulous and works well with ice 🧊 too! Shipped very quickly from Macys - also notified the entire time where the package 📦 was. Great item looks beautiful - buy it !
