Don't be put off because its such a good price.
Bought to upgrade my previous Sony home theatre system that is still going strong at 17 yrs old with the DVD system. Only changed out as I didn't want wires everywhere. It was important for me to get a good quality sound. Although thus doesn't have the detail of being able to adjust for music, film, tv etc it does this automatically. The sound is fantastic even though I was resistant of a soundbar (ive been proven wrong) the app is easy to use although wasn't aware until after I'd set up that it actually takes you through the I still set up too as no instructions in the box. I was sceptical as it was such a goid price but I love it. Fantastic sound and range. The speakers and subwoofer are bigger than it thought but it still looks really good.

Popping sound
Random popping sound from rear speakers. Driving me crazy I have tried everything. I am convinced I have a defective unit.

Unplug the system from power for at least a minute, then plug it back in and power up. 3. Make sure the firmware is up to date. Great Features for Home Theater Music Entertainmen
Bought it in July 05. Just like you are in a movie theater. Bass fantastic n sharp vocal but of course it depends on the output from your movie and sound selection. Generally gave a 👍 for the price paid

Not a great product, even worse customer service
When I tried this unit in store I was blown away by how good it sounded, and it does sound good… when it’s working. After owning the system for nearly a month, the amp for the rear sub woofer started having issues where one channel just stopped working. For a system one month old, that is absolutely unacceptable. Ok fine, that is what warranty is for right? lol yeah right I file the claim, get the label, send it back. All pretty routine. Fast forward 2 weeks, there’s been little to no communication, so I decided to follow up. It turns out, Sony contracts warranty work to a third party called encompass, and surprise surprise… they can’t locate my unit. Long story short, I reach out to Sony directly, only to be told “we need you to send back the ENTIRE system for diagnostics, here’s another label”. They waited 2 weeks to tell me they basically have done nothing, and I need to package up this behemoth system, which would also put me without any audio for god knows how long. Needless to say, I’ll be sending back the entire system alright, but it’ll be in exchange for a Samsung. Get your S**t together Sony, this is unacceptable for a company of this size and stature.

New home sound system
The design is so clean and sleek. Was definitely excited to receive and put this together to start a new sounds system at home. The instructions are good to follow and installing was fun and a good set up. Simple remote control, that needs batteries. The sounds quality was superb and amazing. Got loud when needed and made listening enjoyable. Thank you

Very sleek and strong device
The design is very sleek and modern, it fit well with my living room. I love how easy it was to install it with just a few plugs into the system. The connectivity was strong and effective! Sound quality is very nice and I enjoyed listening to my favorite album of all time to test it out. This is a very quality product and I believe Sony has outdone themselves with this set.
