Great Features, great quality

I bought one month ago, used for online calling and gaming. The mic is the best I have ever tried, even better than my old table mic. The sound is well-surrouned. The weight is light, I still feel comfortable even wearing for at least 6 hours, even I have a sensitive neck that can't wear xm5 for 1 hour. The battery is also long lasting, maybe 1 week 1 charge. I'm very satisfied on this one.

Great Noise Cancelling and Comfortable to wear

The Sony Inzone H9 II headphones are a great pair of gaming headphones. They're lightweight (approximately 260g without the mic, or around 273g with the microphone attached) and comfortable to wear with a flexible headband and fabric cushioning plus breathable ear cups suited for longer gaming sessions. They connect easily via the dongle you insert into your PC. The audio quality is great and can be customised using the INZONE Hub PC software for EQ adjustments, Dynamic Range Control, and game/chat balance. The H9 II has excellent active noise cancellation and the detachable mic is good quality too, voices are clear and crisp when using it. The headphones also come with a zip-up pouch for travel or protection when not in use. I have no complaints, these really are a very good pair of gaming headphones. .

The best headset I have ever owned Fnantastic

When I first picked up this headset I really couldn't believe how light the H9 II felt, previously I have never owned a headset with this style of headband, it's easy to adjust, I find it's much less bulky and so much more comfortable, that combined with how little they weigh you don't really feel like you're wearing them. As always with Sony they were packaged really well and they come with a lovely soft zip case, USB C cable, aux cable, USB dongle and the detachable microphone. I like the idea for the detachable mic it's very bendy and is easy to position exactly where you want, also it holds its position very well and when you don't need it you can just take it off and put it away. I have been told by people that I speak to that I sound different to how I used to on my previous headset, they say it's extremely good quality and very crisp but I just sound a bit different, I personally don't see this as an issue, I wonder if the AI optimisations are the reason for this. I have been using this headset on my PC, PS5, and phone, for the PC when you plug the dongle in you need to make sure the switch on it is set to PC and it connects instantly. The PC app is called InZone Hub and on it you can customise and save your preferred audio settings for each game you play, although with everything set how I want it I find I don't really need to change anything when I'm switching between games but that's me. On the PlayStation 5 you switch the dongle to other and again it connects instantly the sound quality is exceptional everything is clear, crisp and vibrant right through the frequency range whether you are gaming, listening to music, watching a movie or just chatting with someone. Connecting them to my phone via Bluetooth was also very straight forward through the Sony Sound Connect App, the App is very easy to use and again you can adjust various audio settings to your own preference. The noise cancelling function I found wasn't as good as I was expecting it does block out most noises but I feel it could be improved, I actually use the ambient sound mode more often anyway which does work very well and as long as you haven't got what you are listening to, too loud you can easily talk to people around you no problem. Overall I think the H9 II is an absolutely cracking headset, They have great sound, comfortable, lightweight, the controls are well laid out and easy to operate, they have a great battery life, easy to connect and they look very nice.

Amazing sound, amazing ANC but 30h is way to short

Amazing sound, amazing ANC but 30h is way too short. I Would rather have heavier headphones but with more hours before recharging. Overal The best I ever had, very comfy.

Best headset / headphones for all day all task use

I have used the Intone H9 in the past and now I have the H9II. It is a really big improvement in lots of ways despite not looking like one on paper. The sound quality is improved but beyond that this is a headset that you can use for EVERYTHING. Let's start with the differences... This comes with a travel bag, the mic is removable and the overall size and weight is much more comfortable. The original H9s were comfortable but quite bulky, I had lots of comments if I wore them to a team meeting - and when I didn't need voice they were just too big and bulky to be useful, the mic was permanently attached and when you moved it to the off position it looked like you were a remote control robot. The mark II instead have a mic mute button, when it's pressed the button is raised so you can feel it and the mic lights up red (only your side so people on a call can't see it) to let you know you are muted - you can also remove the mic when you've finished chat but still want great audio and less bulk or distraction. Finally on the design you get a much lighter and more adjustable set up on this one, with the suspended band below the frame instead of the cushioned rigid frame like on the originals - overall this adds up to a much more comfortable headset that you can use for everything instead of having to switch like I was before. With both sets you get great mic and sound quality but the new ones are (to my ears) a step forward. The new drivers are apparently the same as Sony's flagship bluetooth headphones but the internet thinks that they are tuned a bit differently because of their use case. I can't confirm this but what I a confirm is that they sound good enough for me to keep them on for music listening while I work or film and TV watching too. Where they really come into their own is their connectivity and usefulness beyond being a standard headset. I currently have them connected to my Mac using the USB dongle (where it appears as 2 playback devices - allowing me to control the volume AND the volume of calls compared to other audio) and to my phone via Bluetooth and the audio switches seamlessly when I answer my phone. The only downside for me personally is that I don't have a windows computer to use the inzone hub and when I tried it on the web it didn't work (I haven't tried that on Chrome though yet). So overall I think that this is as close to a perfect headset as I could hope for - great audio, all day comfort, accessories to keep my desk neat and to let me travel with them and a way to make them less bulky when I don't need a mic.

Amazing spatial audio but lacking otherwise

These INZONE H9 II headphones are the first dedicated gaming headset I have used. On first impressions in terms of feel and aesthetics, they are lightweight and well made as you would expect from SONY. The outer shell of the cups are covered in a very smooth, almost soft touch, plastic. The ear covering is a nice padded foam with faux leather on the inner side. They are extremely comfortable to wear that you almost forget you are wearing them! The headband is made from two different parts and is fully adjustable although a little bit tricky. It's comfortable when in place but I feel the overall look isn't in keeping with the earcups. A little bit cheap looking in places. The right cup feature several buttons including for changing between gaming and chat. On the left is the microphone port, charging port, volume control and 3.5mm jack for wired connections. The microphone is detachable and fully adjustable. It's also a nice length so it fits closely to your mouth. A compact transmitter is included to switch between PC and console. Everything can be packed into the basic but functional carry case which has a main compartment and a separate zip pocket. Now onto how they perform! They charge quickly via USBc and can be linked via the included transmitter or Bluetooth. For those who want to fine tune the H9 II's, the INZONE hub works well especially to get the best out of the spatial sound. These tuning elements can also be played with through mobile via Sound Connect. The active noise cancellation is extremely effective! Definitely helps to keep you immersed in a game. The spatial audio is probably the highlight though. It's very impressive to hear sounds (even subtle noises) hitting you from all directions. Especially in the heat of a battle! The treble is ok but not amazing. The same can be said when listening to music. It's just ok. The microphone does work well and is clear. Overall, I would say the H9 II are excellent in a couple of performance areas and definitely worth it if you are just looking for stunning spatial audio within games. However, in terms of listening to music, the overall aesthetics and some of the build quality, I was left wanting a little bit more.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. We’re happy to hear that you're enjoying your WH-G910N. Yet, we're sorry to learn that the design quality isn't up to your liking; this is not the norm, as we strive to deliver the best quality possible. It's worth mentioning that the headset is developed with great attention to quality and a design built for everyday comfort and long‑lasting use. However, we appreciate your feedback; hearing from our customers helps us continuously improve our products to align with your preferences. Rest assured that we've raised it to the concerned team for future consideration. Also, please note that the headset is designed mainly for competitive gaming, not music. Its sound settings highlight things like footsteps and in‑game movement, so music might not sound as rich or detailed as expected.
