Short Lived

I bought this in March 2025 and use it on a weekly basis. In the last couple of days, the left ear bud has broken audio. It sounds distorted. I love it for the couple of months I had it but did not last long

Since the distortion suddenly appeared, this typically indicates a potential hardware failure. The good news is that these headphones are covered by Sony's One-Year Limited Warranty which covers defects in material or workmanship. Since you purchased them in March 2025, they are still under warranty. To get your earbud repaired or replaced, you'll need to contact our support team directly to start a warranty claim. An upgrade of my WF-C500

Last year, during a trip to Singapore, I bought my very first pair of Sony WF-C500. I was thrilled—the sound was pleasantly balanced, with a decent punch of bass that made every playlist feel alive. They became my daily companion, light and comfortable, fitting perfectly into my ears. But then, tragedy struck. One day, the right side stopped working—likely from water damage. I was gutted. Without hesitation, I went out and picked up the WF-C510, thinking of it as a small step up. And what a difference. While I still love the sleek, snug design of the C500, the C510 immediately impressed me with richer sound quality and a noticeable edge in cutting out surrounding noise. It feels like a clear upgrade, even if the fit takes a little adjusting. In the end, both have their strengths: the WF-C500 wins on comfort, but the WF-C510 wins my ears with sound.
