The noise cancelling feature on this thing looks faulty, I have had XM-4 for about 6 months , I bought XM5s beacause my XM4 got water damaged. I can feel the ANC difference between XM4 and XM5. I have just updated driver for this headphone but the ANC is still faulty.

Nightmare
There is an serious issue with hinge. It broke with basic daily usage. I purchased it in May and within 6 months it broke. It was really unbelievable, no accident drop and no harsh usage. I

Rubbish and third class plastic hinges
I bought it with a very happy heart but I really am very disappointed by the design flaw that results in broken hinge. Despite using it very delicately I still ended up with broken hinge.

Firmware loop/bluetooth lockout
As soon as I these headphones arrived I was advised to download the Sony app which told me I had to update the firmware. I have now been stuck in a faulty firmware loop, with the headphones no longer able to pair over bluetooth. I am getting advice from 3x ai systems to try and unlock the headphones. So I have been unable to use them since I bought them. If I ever mange to get out of this nightmare I'll let you know if these lovely looking headphones actually work well and I'll update my rating!
