Arrived Slightly Damaged

The walking pad itself seems like a solid product, but unfortunately it arrived with a cracked screen. I first contacted Macy’s via chat and was told the item was not yet showing as delivered, so I was advised to check back at a later date. I then reached out to the third-party seller, who offered a $31 credit, which felt insufficient given the condition of a brand-new item. When I contacted Macy’s again the following day, I was offered the same $31 adjustment. While I appreciate the attempt to resolve the issue, this amount does not feel reasonable for visible damage to a new product. I was willing to keep the item rather than return it, but the proposed discount does not reflect the inconvenience or diminished value. The seller sent me a return label, but I’m required to take the large, heavy item to FedEx myself. Only after they receive it will they ship a replacement. I'm very disappointed in the customer service offered.
