Adorable sneakers that cave inward on the sneakers

When i seen these in the store i fell in love with them. I tried them on in the store.I had thick socks on so when i went on vacation and put the sneakers on with know show socks. The side of the sneakers fell inward. So therefore I'm disappointed with them.
