I selected this pattern for my everyday china when i got married almost 25 years ago (even registered at Macy's) and I never got tired of it. I wanted to refresh my pasta bowls recently and was pleasantly surprised to see Macy's carried them in my pattern. They're beautiful and the perfect size and shape -- not too big and fairly shallow. I prefer that pasta bowls look elegant rather than like caldrons. Also, they were on sale and were delivered in only 2-3 days in well-packed and perfect. condition. Great job, Macy's!

... THEY CAN BE USED AS A LARGE PLATE HOWEVER. My grandmother had dinnerware like this. No wonder she was so proud of it. Great quality and craftsmanship made in the U.K. If you have matching plates or want one or more, the plate doesn't sit snuggly inside the charger here. This is also great for a bigger breakfast, for instance, eggs, toast, sausage AND pancakes. The dinner plate itself of course is a little smaller for a more normal size, or less hungry person serving.
Pretty Melamine
Beautiful, presentable even though it is in melamine. Great to bring over at potlucks so if you forget it, you’ve presented your food really well, and won’t mind so much if you lose it.

Plate was broken on arrival! Didn’t even open the box because as soon as I picked it up I heard the broken pieces banging inside. This is supposed to be just one piece but it sounded like there were million pieces inside.
