Happy sleeper
I have had a temerpedic for the last 8 years and have not been happy with it. Tried the Sterns and Foster and had it delivered yesterday, I am so happy already!! First of all, Macy’s has done amazing with communication about my delivery since the moment I purchased online, the gentlemen who came to deliver it were so kind and quick. Everything has been so easy! It’s nice to be able to lay on my side again without feeling so much pain and pressure. Plus I get star money for my purchase!! Win win

I wanted an extra firm mattress because all mattresses sag overtime but this one was too uncomfortable / felt like a rock to sleep on. could not last even one full night and exchanging for firm or lux estate ultra firm. i need something solid yet with some pressure point relief without sink in feel. have to say sterns and foster is not same as it used to be 20 yrs ago. none of mattresses are sag proof no matter brand or how expensive/luxurious. sad but no one builds long lasting mattresses anymore.
Highly Recommend
Buying a mattress is a very personal decision...but for my comfort and sleepability (is that a word?) this mattress fit the bill. Tried other mattresses before buying and decided "ultra firm" was right for me...over just "firm". Some other mattresses had a top cover with full patterened indentations and I really didn't like that feel. This one is fully "flat" or close to it. The best recommendation is however that, for myself, it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on and am pleased with this choice.

My mom had sleep issues in any bed when we visited us . This did the magic . She is sleeping well . It’s been 3 weeks since we bought it . She has lower back pain and shoulder pain , knee pain. We purchased Stearns & Foster Low Profile Flat Foundation 5 Twin XL instead of box spring.
DO NOT BUY
I bought this mattress for several thousand dollars in 2023. It is now 2025 and my boyfriend and I are both suffering aches and pains and pins and needles from the body impressions. I feel conned. I’m now back on the market for another mattress and will never buy from this brand again.

I've been sleeping on Stearn's and Fosters for 25 years and recently moved from Florida to Nevada. New State new Stearn's and Foster. Extra Firm Estate is just that. I'm supported all night long in total comfort. I highly recommend.
Mattress failed in less than two years
We paid a lot of money for a king Lux Estate. In a little over a year it began to sink on both sides of a ridge in the middle. It is now very uncomfortable and something this expensive should be a reliable product. We contacted the furniture store where we bought it and they sent out a manufactures rep to evaluate it. They placed a taught string across the bed and you could see the depressions and the ridge. They measured the depression at the ridge and said the mattress was fine. I am very disappointed with S&F and the store where I bought it. I will not buy any other products from either again.
Defective edge support
Bought this mattress from Ashley furniture located in the Woodlands, Tx area. The mattress edge broke down within a few months. We turned the mattress and the other side edge support broke down with in a few months. This mattress is used by an elderly person who weighs about 130lbs so weight and size of the person is not in question. The results of this defective edge has caused her to constantly roll off the edge of the bed. We contacted Ashley Furniture for help, they sent a mattress warranty claim representative to check out the issue. He reported the findings to Stearns and Foster. Your company DENIED any help, leaving an elderly woman at risk of really being hurt each time the defect causes her to roll out of bed.
