We bought a firm mattress about three years ago and it was terribly firm. Too firm on our backs. We thought we would just get accustomed to it but it didn’t get any better so we decided to go to another store and see if we could just get another less firm mattress. Yes, we should have gone back to the original store (2 hours away) and see what could be done as far as an exchange or such but being busy retired people, we just didn’t do that. Having gone to a local store here, we were greeted by a very helpful salesman who guided us in purchasing a new mattress top. We received the mattress yesterday and slept on it last night. We noticed a great change in comfort for us. I would definitely select the Stearns and Foster brand and make sure to try them out.

Finally great sleep!
Been shopping for new mattress for a while, finally found one I don’t sink into and supports me! I wake up feeling refreshed with no pain. Love my new mattress! It’s so pretty and well made too! Well worth the money! Great delivery and set up! Wonderful experience all around! So happy!

A Great purchase⭐️
I’d like to share a review of my new mattress the Stern and Foster ESTATE FIRM EPT. First, I’d like to give you a little background on why I selected this mattress. My husband and I were out mattress shopping because the mattress that was in our home was affected by the Eaton fire In January 2025 and had soot and an odor of smoke. We needed to replace it, which we were ok with that, because even though we had recently purchased that mattress in a 2021 and it wasn’t that old, it had already developed a slope and was not really that comfortable. Actually after it was delivered brand new’ it wasn’t that comfortable. So we were extremely happy to get a new mattress! We went to the local Sit And Sleep and tried, I’d say at least 15 different types, and kind of mattresses in our price range. We spent over two hours in the store trying to find the perfect mattress. I then remembered the story my best friend shared with me a couple months prior to us going shopping, that she had owned her Sterns and foster mattress for over 25 years and she was still so satisfied with her SF mattress! That speaks volumes on the quality, durability and how well made your mattresses are. She loves her mattress. She has the abilities to replace it, but she does not want to because she is very comfortable with it, but here’s the best part of the story. My best friend has gone through several body weight changes since she’s owned the S&F mattress, at one point she weighed over 325 pounds and now she weighs about 140 pounds. Your mattress still supports her and she’s still very happy with it! Now that’s a testimonial! We laid on this particular S& F mattress, and we fell in love with it, even though it was a little more than our budget , we purchased it and that is my testimony. From the minute it was delivered to our home till this point now three months later, we are very happy and pleased with our Purchase! It’s so comfortable and has increased our sleep time. Overpriced junk.
Our mattress is only 2-3 years old and it has utterly failed. I am 160 lbs at 6’ and I sink halfway below the edge of the mattress, my SO is short and petite. We keep our mattress clean, protected and constantly rotate. This is not a firm mattress. By ANY measure. But I am stuck with it because it is not collapsed, S&F has so cleverly hid behind the “Comfort Preference” of their sham of a warranty. Almost 3k down the drain for nothing. I am so beyond frustrated and annoyed that this is the situation I have been put in that I am seriously considering civil options.

Sleeping Better
Overall I find this mattress to be great quality. My only complaint after about a month is that I'm still feeling pressure points while sleeping on my back in the coccyx area. Yes, I roll on my side for relief so maybe I'm expecting too much. I am currently giving it 4 stars only because of what I mentioned. Once it's broken in maybe my opinion will change.

Very comfortable
We really love our new pillow top firm mattress. Very comfortable to sleep on. Also is much nicer sitting on the edge, edge has plenty of support and don’t feel like you’re going to slide off.

I bought two!
I’ve been extremely pleased with our Sterns & Foster’s mattresses and white glove delivery service. We purchased our second mattress from S & F and relocated our first to the guest bedroom after 13 years. Do to my up coming Lumbar Spine Surgery I wanted a new firm comfortable mattress to rely on during recovery. Luxe Estate firm works best for me. We figured we spend a third of our life’s in bed so better get the best.
