Love at First Sleep
We were initially hesitant about purchasing this mattress due to the price, but after coming back to it several times while shopping we knew we had to give it a try. It is honestly the most comfortable mattress we've ever had, and from day one of sleeping on it we're in love. The firm support is just what we needed for perpetually sore backs, and the pillow top keeps us comfortable while offering supportive sleep. The only downside is the size, it was challenging to get it up to our bedroom and larger sheets are needed for the deep pockets at 17". As my husband puts it, he dreams of getting back into it as soon as he wakes up in the morning. We highly recommend splurging and enjoying the comfort of the Reserve.

Comfort
I have been living with hip for quite some time, we took a chance , spent more $ than usual for a mattress, and have never regretted it. Truly I have not had the hip pain keeping me up at night, even though I just turned 71. We absolutely love moving out of the queen size to a king and our cat loves it too!!

Most Comfortable Mattress Ever
This is the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. I'm getting older and softer and my side sleeping habit was leaving me with aches and pains in the morning on my firm mattress. I've preferred a firm mattress all my life. But my body is not as firm now as it once was and the Reserve Pillow Top is just the ticket for an über comfortable sleep. Worth every penny.

Excellent Quality and Amazing Comfort
This is our third SF Mattress and it is the best yet. It has been a few months since our new SF mattress arrived and every night when I get into bed my husband chuckles because I invariably say "I love this bed, it feels wonderful and is sooooo comfortable." My 60+ years body truly appreciates the instant comfort the tight-top offers with just the right amount of snuggle and firm support from my shoulders down to my feet. I no longer toss and turn trying to relieve my hip and back pain. Each morning I wake-up pain free. Plus my sound sleep helps my husband sleep better too. Love it! My husband is happy we bought our new mattress this year and did not wait another year. Our SF mattress is the best! Ir proves a great night's sleep is so important to our health and mental outlook. P.S. Our 8 year old SF Estate pillow top is now in our guest room and our guests rave about how comfortable it is.

Happy sleeper
I have had a temerpedic for the last 8 years and have not been happy with it. Tried the Sterns and Foster and had it delivered yesterday, I am so happy already!! First of all, Macy’s has done amazing with communication about my delivery since the moment I purchased online, the gentlemen who came to deliver it were so kind and quick. Everything has been so easy! It’s nice to be able to lay on my side again without feeling so much pain and pressure. Plus I get star money for my purchase!! Win win

Highly Recommend
Buying a mattress is a very personal decision...but for my comfort and sleepability (is that a word?) this mattress fit the bill. Tried other mattresses before buying and decided "ultra firm" was right for me...over just "firm". Some other mattresses had a top cover with full patterened indentations and I really didn't like that feel. This one is fully "flat" or close to it. The best recommendation is however that, for myself, it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on and am pleased with this choice.
DO NOT BUY
I bought this mattress for several thousand dollars in 2023. It is now 2025 and my boyfriend and I are both suffering aches and pains and pins and needles from the body impressions. I feel conned. I’m now back on the market for another mattress and will never buy from this brand again.
Mattress failed in less than two years
We paid a lot of money for a king Lux Estate. In a little over a year it began to sink on both sides of a ridge in the middle. It is now very uncomfortable and something this expensive should be a reliable product. We contacted the furniture store where we bought it and they sent out a manufactures rep to evaluate it. They placed a taught string across the bed and you could see the depressions and the ridge. They measured the depression at the ridge and said the mattress was fine. I am very disappointed with S&F and the store where I bought it. I will not buy any other products from either again.
