Super soft material and they fit like a soft glove however the calf area is too too narrow and I had to send them back. I really wanted to keep them.

I like Steve Madden shoes for their style, not necessarily for comfort or quality. With that being said, I purchased these boots because I needed something different from a thigh-high/stilleto boot and appropriate for a modest setting (like Thanksgiving/Christmas), but still young and sexy. I was looking for a bootie with the squared toe and at least 4 inch blocked heel. These were it. I have skinny ankles and larger calves so tucking my jeans inside the tube did not look cute. Instead, I folded my jeans just above the top of the tube and they looked better than I imagined! As far as comfort, I only wore them for about 4 hours and only walked in them to get in and out of my car, but since they don't have any cushion and the sole is pretty thin I know these would be a pain to walk in after a long period of time. I plan on adding padding so that's not an issue for me. Also, these are true to size. If you are looking for style I would definitely recommend these shoes!

its perfect, its fits tightly well. but i'm returning simply because i feel like they call too much attention.
