Game Changer
Where do I even begin? As a first-time parent, shopping for a stroller felt overwhelming. I walked into the store ready to buy something totally different… and left wanting the Babyzen YOYO. Especially while living in NYC, I realized a compact, travel-friendly stroller just made more sense for our lifestyle. We started with the newborn pack and later transitioned seamlessly into the 6+ month pack, it made that phase of parenting so much easier. And because we travel a lot, this stroller has been a lifesaver. It’s super easy to fold down, carry, and maneuver, whether you’re navigating airports, city sidewalks, Hawaii garden strolls or hopping into an Uber with a baby or toddler in tow. I honestly can’t recommend the Babyzen YOYO enough. It’s lightweight, stylish, and designed with real-life parenting in mind. Total game-changer.

yoyo vs uppababy vs xplory
I frequently embark on long-haul flights, and the Yoyo is undoubtedly the best stroller for travelers. Its extreme compactness and maneuverability make it a standout choice. Previously, I used an Uppababy stroller, which, while comfortable, was large and bulky. In contrast, the Yoyo3 is smaller, lighter, and allows for quicker boarding, easier transport, and hassle-free packing. So far, I’ve only gate-checked the Yoyo3, as it’s challenging to fit in the overhead compartment when traveling solo. While folding the stroller isn’t quite as effortless as the Uppababy’s one-handed feature, the Yoyo3 has a manageable learning curve that requires two hands for folding. Securing the harness can be cumbersome, especially with my 16-month-old. If he’s cranky, it becomes a challenge to keep him from sliding down the stroller seat. The storage basket is also limited, accommodating only two or three small items, unlike my Uppababy, which could hold practically everything. At home, my go-to stroller is the Stokke Xplory. I appreciate its versatility and sturdiness, particularly on cobblestone and uneven pavements. The convenience of hanging my diaper bag is an added bonus. However, the Yoyo3 isn’t ideal as an everyday stroller. Its lower profile makes me cautious around puddles and rough terrain. Nonetheless, my baby finds it comfortable, and the stroller handles well. When driving, the Yoyo3 excels! It fits easily in the trunk, allowing for quick trips in and out. The Xplory and Uppababy used to dominate my trunk space, turning grocery shopping into a logistical challenge. In contrast, the Yoyo3 is a no-brainer, even fitting comfortably in the back seat. In summary, the Yoyo3 is an excellent travel stroller and the best choice for driving excursions. It shines in its compact design and ease of use for travel, though it may not be the best fit for everyday use.

Yoyo3, Uppababy and Xplory
I frequently travel long haul flights and this is a great travel stroller, easy to get around in. I was traveling with an uppababy which was large and bulky, the yoyo3 is smaller, lighter and faster to board with, get a ride, pack up or just carry! Ive checked it at the gate only so far since its not easy to place in the over head compartment when traveling solo. Folding is not as easy as my uppababy's one hand fold feature, the yoyo3 has a small learning curve, folding with two hands. The harness is cumbersome to secure when seating my 16 month old and if he's cranky it can become a challenge to prevent him from sliding down the stroller seat. As far as the basket, it holds basically 2 or 3 small items, I was able to literally throw everything into my uppababy. When at home, in town and walking for most part for Dr. Appts, shopping, errands etc.. my go to stroller is the Stokke Xplory. I love the versatility and sturdiness (handles very well on cobble stones, uneven pavements) being able to hang my baby bag is very convenient too. Personally the yoyo3 does not do well as an everyday stroller. Its seems to be too low to the ground making me cautious around puddles and uneven pavements. None the less my baby is comfortable and the stroller handles very well. When I drive everywhere I use my yoyo3 and its great! I can fill up the trunk with ease and be in and out quickly. The Xplory and uppababy use to take up most of the trunk making grocery shopping a nightmare as they are both large heavy strollers where as the yoyo3 is a no brainer fitting even in the back seat. All in all the yoyo3 is an excellent travel stroller and your best bet when driving etc...

Great sturdy travel stroller with a few cons
I was super excited to be receiving the Yoyo stroller from Stellar Product Testing Panel for my review as I’d always seen it was one of the higher end travel stroller options. I have to say the stroller itself is clearly high quality materials and maneuvers well. It folds up to be quite compact. The sage green color I got is the perfect gender neutral hue and I really like the handle, zipper pocket on the back of the stroller, and the padded shoulder strap to carry it when folded. The ability to completely shade the child (the sunshade goes super low) is also really nice- I’ll appreciate it for my little one when he’s 6-12 months but my 2.5 year old does not like not being able to see out. I can see this as a big perk as well if your kid is good with stroller naps! I’ve only taken it out on city streets/sidewalks but it handles well so far and feels really sturdy for how compact and lightweight it is. My 2.5 year old is in the photos for size, she’s 3’ tall and 30lbs and there is one more shoulder strap section above her shoulders now, so not a ton of room to grow but she fits great now. That all being said there are a few flaws that I wasn’t thrilled about. First, I’ve never gotten a stroller that required so much set up. It literally comes in pieces you have to put together and I wouldn’t say the instructions are super clear. Budget 30 minutes to assemble the thing. Thought that was kind of weird from a high end stroller. Next, the bag it comes with is pretty flimsy. We typically gate check our stroller when we travel since we already usually have the max amount of carry ons, and I’m a little concerned about how it’s going to hold up. Our cheaper travel stroller’s bag is made of a much more durable fabric. You also have to make sure you put the stroller in the bag the right way- it won’t fit the other way and is a pretty tight fit. I am going to label it since there is no way I’ll remember when I’m frantically packing it up at the gate. And my last gripe- the under basket is pretty tiny. There are two bars that come down in the front that hinder the space quite a bit. This isn’t a huge dealbreaker for me in a travel stroller since I won’t be using this day to day, but something to consider. All in all it’s a very high quality and sturdy stroller. A few knocks but depending on your needs the cons may not be a big deal. I’ll certainly be getting a lot of use out of this stroller!

Wow I am super impressed
I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel for my review. I have had many strollers in this parenthood journey over 12 years and this is the most impressive stroller I have used. I love how tiny it folds. The fabrics are high end and feel soft. the canopy can actually fold down to cover my 23 month old’s eyes. I was shocked by how far it reclines. The stroller has all the luxuries of a full sized stroller in a smaller package. Flying is so much easier with this bad boy. The color is sleek. The only small negative is that it doesn’t fold as easy as they show in the commercial with one hand. I have smaller hands and I have to use two to get it closed. You have to press a button on the bottom while holding a pull bar. It’s easy to do though. I love this stroller and it’s now our daily driver.

Stokke YOYO3 Pros and Cons
I was given this stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was so excited to receive this stroller! was searching for a lightweight, small folding, travel stroller for our frequently on the go/traveling lifestyle. Already owning a similar style travel/compact stroller gave me something to compare it to. My first impression upon unboxing was that the set up was fairly easy. Compared to another travel stroller I own, I felt it did take longer to set up which was a con. Once set up, I liked the sleek, smaller profile of the YOYO. It is definitely smaller and more compact that other options on the market. It folds small and comes with a convenient shoulder strap that makes carrying it around easy. This feature is not provided on my other travel stroller, and I didn't know how nice of a feature it was until I had it. Definitely a pro. I love that it takes up less room in my trunk and will definitely come in handy when traveling with multiple suitcases and a full car. I do admit I needed to watch a few videos to figure out how to unfold/fold the stroller, and still don't find it as user friendly as I would like. I believe the unfold/fold is a con for me. The overall functionality of the stroller is a pro. It is a smooth ride and seems comfortable for my child. I actually felt that this stroller handled bumpy terrain similar to a full size stroller. The buckles are easy to manage and adjust. The extra long sunshield was a nice feature when it came time for nap time. I felt that the storage basket was a con. I felt that it was a little small and the overall style of the stroller makes it so that the opening at the back is narrow. This made it hard to throw a larger purse or shopping bag underneath. The peek-a-bow window, breezy fabrics, and head cushion were all pros for this stroller. I would recommend this stroller for those looking for a super compact folding stroller for traveling, running errands, and a family that is always on the go.

The perfect compact stroller
After using the Yoyo3 for a few weeks now I can say it has easily jumped up to my number one used stroller! I love how breathable & lightweight the material is both for its looks and how comfortable it is for my daughter. This stroller folds up so compact I just had to share a picture of it in my trunk because it hardly takes up as much room as a large size bag. The trunk space is so important to us especially when going on road trips with our family of 4! We were able to fit this stroller and all the things we needed easily! The stroller rides very nice and feels lightweight yet supportive. It was able to handle all different terrains while on our trip & not to mention how easily folds up and can be tucked away when at a restaurant or small space. I was surprised by the storage basket as it held my small diaper bag and a few toys. My favorite feature is easily the RECLINE feature! When you have small babies they often need to nap on the go and the YOYO3 can simply be reclined enough to relax and catch a nap. Major mom win! My kids hate when the suns in their eyes so I’d say the sunshade is my second favorite feature because it is extra long and blocked out all the sun. Plus, the peekaboo window is awesome making it so easy to check on baby without disturbing or distracting. Overall, this is genuinely the perfect compact stroller! It has so many luxury features in such a small lightweight frame that would fit any lifestyle! I cannot WAIT to take this on another trip with us! I will also absolutely be buying the ride along attachment for my older girl! Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this amazing stroller to try out and we truly LOVE IT & can’t go with out it!

Fantastic travel stroller
I’m really loving this stroller! It is so compact and lightweight, and very comfortable for my 2 year old. It fits in the overhead compartment of an airplane, although it also feels sturdy enough to gate check as well. It handles like a dream, and is very easy to open and close. My favorite feature is the large canopy, which is hard to find on a travel stroller. I also appreciate the taller backrest with the addition of a built in pillow for when my daughter lays down. The wheels on this stroller are on the smaller side, but that is so that it maintains its extremely compact size. This would not do well on gravel, but for the majority of occasions this would be so much more convenient. Overall, I think more parents would be happier with a compact stroller over a full size in most cases. This stroller can be compatible with newborns if you purchase that additional piece, which I think could be very attractive for new parents. Highly recommend this stroller! We will be using it almost exclusively until the max weight is exceeded. Thanks to the Stellar Review Panel for the chance to try this amazing stroller!
