Assembly required

I was concerned with the box size/shape, knowing assembly was required. After opening it I was elated to see that the assembly was really easy. Allen wrench was missing, but I have plenty. One problem: one of the arm-to-back holes was not drilled deep enough. After struggling for 20 minutes on the last screw, I realized what the problem was and dug out a little more space in the hole where the screw lock fit.. perfect!!. One suggestion: have the factory install the snaps for the arm pads, which have minuscule screws to install. I have long nails, so that presented a problem in holding the screw. Great piece, especially for the price.

Great

The glider is very smooth when gliding and the cushions comfortable. I got it for my birthday and am expecting our second baby. It is easy to glide with my first baby on lap. I guess what I am saying is that with all that weight on it it is an excellent gliding condition. This is my initial review and will update in a few months

Fantastic Glider for Short Term Use

This glider has been invaluable to us with our infant and it really is great for the price. We've sat in it nearly non-stop for the past 4.5 months while nursing and rocking and soothing. However, if you hope to get more than 4-5 months of use out of a glider, spend money on something that will hold up better. The seat cushion and footrest have completely worn through from constant use. I reached out to Storkcraft to order replacements, and they don't offer replacements so we're out of luck. Still, we loved it while it lasted.

Very thin seat cushion

I really like the size of the glider chair and the movement is nice and relaxing. I'm disappointed by how thin the seat cushion is. It's for a mom to be who I imagine will use the glider as she's nursing or comforting the baby. I have a glider and ottoman from 23 years ago and the cushion is still comfortable and thick like a cushion on a wooden chair should be.

Great chair, has taken wear and tear in last 3.5yr

We have had this since the summer of 2022 after my son was born. We are currently using it for our next baby as well in 2025. It has been used so much and it has held up. The buttons on the back slowly popped out but still functional. The side handrests have moved around a bit but it does its job and well. We are satisfied.
