disappointed

This item arrived in two separate boxes and delivery dates. I wanted to love this item, but I can't. Truly disappointed with the quality of the materials. Instructions are horrible and hard to follow. The pre-drilled holes did not match up with screws/pegs supplied. Measurements are WAY OFF. My brother had to drill additional holes in the bottom and side panels to make this work. For the amount of money paid for this item, I expected better. I already have scratches on the unit while putting together. Looks cheap and would not advise anyone to purchase. Too much trouble to deal with. Really poor quality. I feel stuck with item. too much of a hassle to try to contact manufacturer and return. I rated the item as 1. If I could have given a zero rating, I would have,

Very Poor Quality

I do not understand how Macy’s can sell this piece of junk. The top edges have discoloration. It is apparent where the top and side edges meet that it’s pressboard with a plastic coating as the edges don’t quite match up and the film of the side edges are raised. There are two humps on the top of the stand where the middle vertical interior shelving meets the top. Keeping in mind that Macy’s has a quite a few products from this manufacturer listed in their online store, I would recommend that you never buy from Macy’s online store.

No instructions how to assemble

The item arrived in 2 separate boxes. There are so many different screws and parts, and no instructions on how to put this item together and where to start. Very disappointing.
