Button holes small on black but not blue

The buttons on the black sweater were impossible to undo. I had to have someone else undo them. The button holes were too small for the buttons. The blue sweater was perfect. Both sweaters were well made fit perfectly. Nice soft fabric. We’ll see how they look after washing. I hope this material doesn’t pill as have previous sweaters similar to this fabric have pilled in the past
