The 1960s came calling

I'm not sure exactly when the meaning of bootcut changed. I was alive when it meant you could comfortably get it over your ankle and it would fall smartly over your cute little boots. These pants, however, are **not** bootcut, unless you wear something that thunders past your knees and up to the pass. I don't think even in the 60s there was such a flare. These are on clearance for a reason ... no one knows the difference between bootcut and flare and they look horrible on a good chunk of the populace.

I can’t review this as I never received the pants

I never received this item. I have purchased this Jean style in different colors in the past and have found them to fit well. Apparently black is too popular and my order was cancelled due to lack of stock.

not boot cut

I purchased these jeans because I wanted a boot cut. These are not boot cut but bell bottoms. Very wide. I kept them because I got them at such a good price.

Bell bottoms 1970s

Not the style for me. I thought curvy was for a large woman. Curvy in this case meant bell bottoms! Not a good look on my CURVY body type.
