Lamp was defective and did not look like bronze. Getting it back in the box is a trick.
Nice floor lamp but had a few issues
On the positive side, this floor lamp was relatively easy to assemble and is very pretty. However, there were two things I didn’t like. First, a sticker on the bottom of the lamp warns California residents that material in the lamp could cause cancer. I don’t live in California but I heed those warnings. This warning did not appear on the website. And the bottom to the lamp was in the very bottom of the box. So you don’t see this until everything is removed from the box, which brings me to my second complaint. . My rating for the packaging would be one star. It certainly was not wrapped with the consumer in mind. I had to practically tear the box apart to get the entire lamp out. I’ve purchased three lamps from Macy’s recently, and two out of three were wrapped so tightly that I had a terrible time removing them. Do they really need to be wrapped like that? I’m glad I like the lamp because I would never be able to get it back in the box to return it.
Substantial Timeless Floor Lamp
I purchased this lamp bc I liked the timeless style. It blends with many types of decor. The packaging is excellent. Assembly is a snap, or twist of metal poles and treading power line. Shade is a beautiful darker beige fabric with off white silky lining. It's a spider shade fitting. I use 100W bulb but it has a 3 way switch. I actually bought a second one to pull the look together in large rec room downstairs. Excellent value for a large floor lamp.
Good Value in a Standing Lamp
This is a surprisingly sturdy lamp base that blends effortlessly with certain Craftsman details in my fireplace and sconces.

Beautiful floor lamp
I bought this floor lamp online and it looks great in the house. It's a bit hard to tell from the picture but the lamp shade is a textured linen look, which adds more character. it's got a yellow glow when it's lit up. I would have thought it would be more of a white glow from the pictures.
