Returning

The item is not smooth like in the picture, part of it clearly has been damaged then glued back together it seems, and painted over, there are bubbles in the paint as well. Surprised that Macy's sells items in this kind of condition. Looks like something one might find at a garage sale in its condition. It's a nice idea, but clearly, standards need to be raised to what Macy's is supposed to represent, high-quality products. I am going to need to return mine, I wish I didn't have too.

Great Hospitality Decor

I purchased this pineapple lamp in the gold for our guest room. I love pineapples as a sign of hospitality and the shape of a pineapple works so well for a lamp. It goes nicely with the Tommy Bahama Palms Away bedding. It is a shorter lamp - 22.5" to the top of the shade with another 2.25" to the top of the finial - so it looks fine in a bedroom or perhaps an entry hall. I purchased this lamp on sale and am very satisfied with it.
