I wasn't a happy camper when I unpacked this lamp. It is well made and the lamp shade is beautiful, but the color is horrible. I was expecting a white/cream lamp and received a tan/brown lamp. Ugh! I have to return even through there is a restocking fee for lamps, which I find slightly offensive.

Beautiful
This lamp is beautiful and I love it but it is just too tall for my night-stand. I called when I initially wanted to order it just because I had some questions about it. Not only did Macy's allow me to use an extra discount that I had, but they also allowed me to use some Macy's cash coupons. They bent over backwards to make it all happen for me so I am really disappointed it doesn't work for me. Would love to have the same thing in a shorter version.

Very nice table lamp!
It is a very nice lamp for my end table in my living room, it's small but not too small and the lighting is very good too. I really like the coastal look, fits well into my living room.

Better than the picture showed.
The 2 I ordered are great and are on each side of the bed as 3 way side lights. They are acrylic type and not as heavy but then you worry about scratches on the side table. This has actually been a positive for me. I did say I ordered 2 and worth it.

not cream!
The lamp is a beige/sand closer to tan color. You wouldn't even call it an off white. A cream this color had some coffee splashed into it! The detailing was a little graceless and not in keeping with the light and airy decor I am working to achieve in our cottage. Had to return. Did like very much the shade, though. The picture fails to capture its shape, which is more oblong. The lamp might work nicely in a beach themed room with a heavier touch, and if you are looking for more of a sand color, not cream. I chose to recommend it because it looked well made, and I would have probably kept it if I wasn't looking for something much lighter in color and style.

Quality lamp
I was very pleased when I received this lamp. It is beautiful and well made. The detail is very defined and elegant looking. I was very happy with the quality of the lamp and the care with which it was packaged. This is a great lamp for a very reasonable price.

Not cream colored!
This is my first review ever for a Macy’s product shop at Macy's on a regular basis due to the quality items much to my husband's chagrin as I spend a lot. This is a beige lamp not cream! So disappointed as the decorations on the lamp are not the pretty color shown in the photo. Great lampshade
