Buyer beware, Don't recommend

Never builds up pressure — don’t waste your money. Spend a little extra on a non-T-fal pressure cooker instead. Extremely disappointed. After buying it, I did some research and found countless complaints about the same issue — it simply doesn’t reach proper temperature or pressure. The so-called “fixes” people suggest are ridiculous: squeezing the handles to get a seal, fiddling endlessly with the lid alignment just to make it close right. This is supposed to be a pressurized cooking vessel, not a guessing game. That kind of design flaw shouldn’t even be possible — it’s a dangerous flaw that could easily turn into a bomb.

An easy and uncomplicated canner

I have used this twice for pressure canning as well as twice for water bath canning. The set up and use is very easy and fool proof. It worked exactly as advertised and allowed me to preserve my backyard bounty for the winter and spring food stores.

Just what I hoped for.

This cooker is awesome. Simple clean design and really easy to use. If I had to make a criticism it would only be that the manual is so small - I'm not sure why the need to save space or something was applied to that as there was certainly lots of room in the box for an easier to use manual.

Broke week one!

This pressure cooker was used 3 times and completely stopped working in my first week of operation! Very dissapointing. I now havr to purchase a new one from a reliable source.

using for the first time

I followed the instructions under using the first time in the owners manual. The pot turned dark after following the procedure. Why? How can I return it to the stainless steel finish?

Meets All Criteria

I bought this in the summer of 2021. It has worked great for canning green beans from my garden. I didn't want to spend a ton of money, but wanted something that was easy to use, safe and accurate. This canner meets all the criteria. I'm buying another one for my daughter for Christmas.
