Works great no matter where it is placed.
I couldn’t wait to put this thermometer in my oven. I always wondered if the oven temperature that I programmed was accurate. The only issue I had was trying to decide where to put it (hang in middle, hang on the side). I have been experimenting in the different choices of placement.

True temperature reading for the oven. Dial is big enough to see through oven glass.
Seems very accurate.It is always showing the same degree I set the temperature at.
Not easy to use
The face is hard to see when hanging in the oven. It also falls off the rack easilty.
