it's ok
Some good apps come with it. That being said most TCL's are dark in the picture, you just cant get them as bright as a more expensive tv. Mine loses internet connection sometimes where I have to unplug it. Then I notice a small spark when plugging it in, the plug is not polarized. Makes a good tv for a bedroom. Saying its 4 k is a bit much compared to a big name tv.
New TV
Picture and sound are good, but I have to keep it on "Fast Start", otherwise it takes a while to start, then has to be restarted again because all the channels say "No Information". The biggest drawback is the remote. Almost half is taken up by "Prime Buttons" that I'll never use. The "Volume" buttons are inconveniently located, as my hand hits them when I'm performing other functions. It doesn't fit the hand easily (not ergonomic), too smooth and slips in my hand, and the "Up/Down/Ok" button is too flat. I'm going to have to buy a better remote.

Easiest setup
All together from taking the TV out the box to setting it up 100% took around 5 min. Quick setup running on wifi was quick. Installing the apps in the store was smooth with no issues. For it being a 50 inch TV it is super light. Only negative mark I can give on this TV would be the placement of the leg stands, being so far apart you need to either mount it or have a dress that's longer to hold it up.
