After 10 or more years we decided to update our Tempur Pedic mattress and decided to also get a new base as the old one had a mind of its own and would raise one side of the bed at random. We have had the new mattress and base for several months and I feel I can give an honest review now. This base is attractive and more "streamlined" than our previous base but you can definitely feel when anyone moves on the bed, which is so disappointing. Compared to our old base there are not as many legs on this new base and I don't think it is as heavy as the our old Tempur Pedic base, it adjusts smoothly and has better remote and functions than our old one, the app is interesting and informative. I'm not sure if we like the anti snore feature, it raises the head up pretty far and as a result we have both woken up. I regret getting rid of the old base.

The massage motor is substandard! Buyer Beware
Totally disappointed! The massage motor stopped working! I purchased it directly from Tempurpedic on 4 May 2019 and the motor stopped working January 2024. I called in today on 13 May 2024, and was told that the massage motor was no longer covered and that I must pay for all parts and for the technician visit, etc. after spending over $5,000 on this worthless bed, buyer beware! I do not recommend this product or company! A total disappointment! Their products are substandard and the buyer just has a bed that is forever inoperable! Choose another company! Do not spend your money on this substandard product!

So far the smart base is not reading both of us sporadic...
The smart base isn't that smart so far and has mixed up the readings showing mine on hers and is now not showing information at all.. Tried to call a couple of times but no luck getting a real person to help.

The base that I have was in exchange for another model that was defective. The construction of this base is superior and comfortable.

Hard mattress
We've had our bed approximately 6 weeks and it's still hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, will give it another two weeks before we return it

Remember to ask installer
In order to fill out warranty info you need numbers from the side and bottom. (This is discovered after bed is put together by you). Your installer SHOULD ask you if you'd like them to take a picture of these needed numbers BEFORE while they are assembling the bed

Amazing features!
We got a split king with these ERGO EXTEND Smart bases, and they are amazing - they have a massage feature, which is quite nice and does add to the relaxation expected when getting into bed. The ability to separately set our bases how we want them has been great- if I want to put my feet up, I can do that without interfering with him sitting up or vice versa. The phone app works well as a remote, AND the AI Sleep tracker has been enlightening to track how often we are awake or get up in the night - it is serving to help sleep train us to focus on trying to get better sleep! We would highly recommend the mattresses and bases!
