It's our second Breville tea infuser. We decided to buy it when the first one (the base) broke after several years of good service.

Great but poor qulity

I bought this a bit more than a year ago, use it almost everyday. This morning the glass broke (see the picture), it did not had any choc or anything… now I just need to throw it away and buy a new one. Very disappointing for a premium product

Amazing Kettle

Boils water very fast and a lot of funtions. The overall look is beautiful, I get a lot of compliments about this kettle.

Not as good as the first model I had

I bought the previous version of Breville Tea Infuser and used it daily until it quit working. So I went to replace it and learned it had been changed. The new model is not nearly as convenient or easy. Before I could put it all together, push a button, and viola! I had tea! Now I have to put the water in and heat it. Then go back and add the tea. Then remove the tea. There’s really no advantage over a standard tea pot. There’s a magnetic top that quit working on my first try of this new version. Breville replaced it easily, but it seems this second magnet is beginning to lose some strength now. I love all my other Breville appliances, but this one is definitely lacking.

Good but the Lid magnet stoped working!

It has a very good sensor so your tea temperature would be exact. However the lid magnet stoped working for in within 3 months, and now I am struggling to get the tea basket out!

Easily Broken Glass

We had our kettle for 1.5 years and loved the product. However the glass is apparently very fragile because our kettle cracked with only a light tap on our sink. I don’t know if my case was unique, but I was expecting this product to last much longer than it did. For the price I expected a more sturdy product.
