returned-- problems w/ getting prescription lenses

The glasses looked nice. I liked the black frames w/ the classic Tiffany color on the inside. I also liked the design on the side frames w/ the pearl. Unfortunately, I had to return the glasses is because I could not get an optometry clinic to be willing to take these in to switch out lenses for prescriptions. I was specifically told that the places couldn't risk losing any of the stones or pearl on the side in the process of popping the lenses in and out.

Cheap glasses with Tiffany marks

I bought same glasses from an optometrist office over 5 years ago. The quality of the glasses recently purchased is considerably lower. They are lighter weight and smaller. Even the Tiffany branded accompaniments are cheaper. These did not come with a hard cases like my glasses before. Even the certification sticker and cloth bag seem cheap. Not the Tiffany quality I experienced with my first purchase or what I would expect from the brand.
