Timex's latest Pan Am offering captures the spirit of the golden age of aviation. It brings a new 41mm brushed stainless-steel case to their Waterbury collection, as well as the first automatic watch to join their ongoing collaboration with Pan Am. It presents the clean, military-style design of a traditional pilot watch, and it's powered by a 21-jewel Japanese automatic. It proudly features a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, luminant hands and markers, a date feature, and an impressionist airplane motif on the blue sunray dial. This same airplane appears on the tanned natural leather strap, complete with contrast stitching, iconic Pan Am blue lining, and quick-release spring bars for easy strap changes without the need for tools.

The watch is almost perfect

The watch is almost perfect from the clean, ‘60’s look, easy to read “Flieger” design, color scheme, and comfortable leather strap, but you mislabeled the credit on the caseback! It reads “Watch MARKERS”, instead of MAKERS!!!! Bad QC work there!!! 😂

The “Watchmarkers” watch without quick

The “Watchmarkers” watch without quick release! It’s a good looking watch and a terrific conversation piece. The band is too narrow for my taste, so I ditched it for a Waterbury Ace bracelet (with quick release). It fit great and I love the updated look. All-in-all, one of my favorite watches in my collection.

I appreciate the nostalgic aviation

I appreciate the nostalgic aviation collab and the color. The build quality is solid but even with the collab, Timex doesn't carry the brand cache as other near luxury watches at this price point. If you are in the market for a automatic and you can appreciate the look, it's a good buy.

Really great looking watch. Runs

Really great looking watch. Runs a bit fast at just over +30 seconds/day. Quality control is a bit lacking. . . Back of the watch says "WatchmaRkers est. 1854" and the strap, which is not quick-release, is beginning to fray on the underside after just two days of wear. Other than that, it's a pretty nice timepiece. . . just could be a bit better for the price.
