    Tight fit. Over the calf. Thin.

    I'm short and muscular, so your experience may vary: Returned as soon as I tried them on. They reached up over the calf - too tall for "crew" socks (but not quite to the knee). The foot felt ok but the calf part of the sock stretched super thin and was not going to stay up or last with the elastic at its near breaking point. I expected better but the cheaper "gold toe" were better quality and the right size (halfway up the calf and stayed there comfortably)
