Shipping and Handling is VERY poor

Macys never had this issue but now they use USPS and have absolutely no predictability in terms of delivery of the items. I am waiting for an item for the past 1 week and I have no update on when this will be delivered. Every day they keep changing the delivery date but it seems like the item is 10 miles away from my home. I am going to return it when I get it because I ordered this item to attend a function but that function is now got over.
