Shhh!

Microwaves are surprisingly noisy appliances. I bought this model because of its high ratings, the door opens with a handle, and references in reviews to its relative quietness. Having a handle instead of a push button opening is critical to gaining quiet. The turntable rotates quietly and I purchased a silicon mat for the surface of the glass turntable that insulates the “clank” of placing items on the surface. The last step was to turn of the beep which this model allows. I’m a happy camper.
