    Too compact

    This umbrella is perfect for a child but not suitable for covering anyone over 10 years old!

    Difficult to use

    I bought this a few months ago for my daughter to use at school and since it doesn't rain much here she finally got to try it out today. The mechanism for opening it is so difficult to use she got drenched in the process. She got frustrated enough her dad had to help and he had trouble, too. Even manual umbrellas should be easy enough to use that the process of opening them doesn't negate needing them. We figured it was perfect because it fits in her backpack without taking up much room, but in terms of practical use it was a complete waste of money.

    Size and weight

    Rating is less than 5, because this mini umbrella is noticeably larger and heavier than my old one, and the handle does not stay in place when umbrella is closed.

    Small but mighty!

    This umbrella is light and easy to carry. It’s a perfect size for traveling and is really cute with the polka dots, too!
