Beautiful, but not right for me.

It's a beautiful piece of luggage but the zippers were tough to manage and it wasn't as easy to open as my current Travelpro carry-on. I'm sad to return it.

Another great roller

Another great roller bag from Travel Pro! I bought this on the Black Friday sale, and I liked it so much that I bought one as a gift for a friend. I use it when traveling in Japan where luggage is small and high quality. I've had the international carry on for about 10 years and it's still going strong, so I trust this one to do a good job.

Almost Perfect

Traveling a lot, I’ve tried several types of carryons over the years, from 16” to 21. ” This size hits the sweet spot - not too small or too big. The Platinum Elite line proves that you get what you pay for with the materials, design and function top quality. It holds several days worth of clothing on a short trip, or all the necessities needed in case a larger suitcase fails to arrive upon landing when taking a long trip. The wheels roll very smoothly even if a heavy backpack is on top, and it doesn’t tip over when stationary. The only thing that could be changed is the Velcro strip/snap on the inside of the lid that prevent the case from opening fully. Compression straps would work much better and are not cumbersome. Also, the inside lid would be more functional with a full zippered mesh pocket. Overall, though, because of the quality and size, it’s a great travel addition.

My New International Travel Go To

I have a Platinum Elite carry on and Medium check thru bag, which I love and use regularly . The carry on is too large for much international travel and domestic region jets, so this should do the trick. It’s still a little heavier, but will allow me to roll on instead of carrying on heavy bag on shoulder or back.

I really like this little luggage

The only purpose I wanted this 16" under the seat carry on was to be able to put under the seat. I haven't tried it yet. So far, I heard only Delta can do it. For another reviewer here wanting a slight bigger version of the Platinum Elite, Travelpro.com has a 19-inch carryon with 4 wheels. I ordered that one too and will compare with this 16" when it arrives. Unfortunately, Macys does not carry the 19-inch. I had to ordered it from the manufacturer directly and got better discounts than Macys. So I am happy. So far, I have a 28, 26, 21, 19, and 16. I am tempted to get the 20" instead of the 19", since I already have a 21", I think the 19" would be more versatile.
