Not what they seem

Misleadingly smaller than what they seem to be but quality is there. I also didn’t get the correct color or if it was it catfished me I thought it was all going to be shiny grey but it was matte grey when I got it.

Jealousy got me to buy it

Love the size. It's heavier than the regular Platinum Elite (not compact), which is counter intuitive. But it holds all I needed for 2 weeks in Japan

Very Satisfied

I have had the standard crew bag for many years while flying for American Airlines. I switched to the Platinum Elite Hardside and really like it. The only thing I need to get used to are the carry handles. They are very tight to the suitcase and hard to grasp easily. Maybe they will loosen as time goes by. Otherwise, I would highly recommend the bag.

pretty but got beat up fast

This case looks great, rolls well, feels sturdy and fits enough for a 5 day trip. But on my first trip with it I was forced to check it and it got pretty beat up. I don't know what Delta did to it but it looked like it landed on pavement, and even the aluminum edges got pretty scuffed and one of them ended up slightly bent. So I would conclude that that part is for show, not durability. In retrospect I should have gone with the soft-sided case. But I'm sure I will get good use out of this still, and otherwise like it a lot.
