I am a TravelPro fan and have purchased these bags before. They are well designed and hold up well. The only thing I would say is that this bag has an attached suit/dress piece that I wish was removable.

The bag is terrific. Just bought a second one. But I do resent that I need to download Shop to track my shipment. I did this with you once before and got flooded with spam. Why can't you just give me a carrier link like everyone else does??

I travel 180 days a year and this is the best carry-on bag I have ever owned. I have owned a lot of travelpro bags, and I really appreciate the tremendous value I get when I buy one of their products. If you travel less frequently and are looking to save money, some of their lighter bags like the Maxlite carry on (which I also own) may be right for you. If you are looking for top quality and durable materials then the platinum elite is a great choice.

The workability of the 4 wheels and handle is excellent. However the layout is awkward and not practical for example: the small external pocket is too small for normal size magazines or any 8 1/2x11” papers, an inside zip compartment attached to the compression straps zips on the right edge of the suitcase and the garment folder is not needed for most leisure travelers. All these “additions” increase the price, and make the suitcase less useful.
