What am I supposed to do with a piece of furniture that is not assembled? I purchased a table not pieces of a table. Will return

Horrible!

This is the most ridiculous idea of a design. It’s a pain to assemble. The black part of this table doesn’t not get attached to anything. So when you try to expand it it scratches the brown part of surface. Do not recommend this.
