Twin Mission Tent Loft Bed with Slide

This bed is ok. You get what you pay for. Assembly took me a good 2-3 hrs. Be careful of the bottom of the slide. Doesn’t cure out like a normal park slide, so if you have a toddler going down it full speed they have to plant with their feet which naturally jams their knees. My kid has landed awkwardly many times. He doesn’t go down it much anymore. The bed has still lasted. Going on two years now.
Cheap wood and chemical smell lasts six months
This was very VERY disappointing purchase. Assembly was outrageous and all screws needed to be screwed manually by hand (not the type you can use auto tool). These wood plates are SO cheap. A few got damaged while getting assembled because woods were so weak. Once assembled, cheap wood and chemical smell lasted (and still lasting) for over six months now. At first, we thought, it's a new wooden furniture, so smell would be natural and would go away a week or two. Well, its been over six months and the entire room stinks with cheap wood and cheap chemical paint (from bed) smell, despite we had to leave the windows open 24/7 for months. I think we've been patient waiting a while to let the smell go away, but the smell is from cheap paint that coated wood panels and cheap wood smell is just not bearable anymore. My toddler hasnt been sleeping on this bed because he would cough in the middle of the night each time he sleeps in the bed. Macy should not be selling this for their own good.
