poor quality

We purchased from Macy’s expecting higher quality piece. This is comparable to something purchased through Temu or a cheap e-commerce site. Side rails are split into two pieces each. The entire frame is cheap particle board, and assembly took nearly four hours (we have 3 kids are used to assembling furniture/toys), directions are not straightforward and we had to disassemble and reassemble the bed. At this price point buy something higher quality. I would not recommend this bed frame and we will be returning.
