Reliable, Great Features, Durable

I love this watch. I have the 7s and it fits perfectly. It has a decent battery life - going days worth 10-15 mile hikes before needing to be recharged. It holds up against my clumsiness and when it did have a screen defect, Garmin replaced it for free. They keep adding features and activity types, and watch faces. The maps are easy to download. It syncs well with Strava and the Garmin connect activity review is super detailed. I often screenshot that for Strava.

Great for serious athletes tracking their progress

My daughter is on a highly competitive nordic team and this is the go to for the entire team. This tracks all of their progress, even sleep, which for serious athletes, this is a great function. I do wish it had cellular capabilities but that isn't what the watch is for. It does an amazing job and is great for beginners and serious athletes alike.

Awesome watch and great service

I love my fenix can't live without it. Keeps me updated with my life activities and my heath stats as a amateur athlete are important. The HRV stats allow me to workout at optimum efficiency and when I need to back off. Amazing watch I will use this product for the rest of my life. I had an issue with a button and warranty replaced it in 2 days. Can't beat the watch or the service. Thanks

Mostly good, a few issues

Overall, I'm fairly happy. I'm a longtime Garmin sport watch user/customer. I've owned a 735, a fenix 6, a Swim 2. I won't go into all the things I like because there are too many to list. But there are two things that really bother me: 1. The watches break too easily. Both hardware and software. My most recent fenix 7, which was less than 18 months old, the Start | Stop button stopped working. So i had ot send it back. This has happened with every watch I've owned from Garmin except the Swim 2. I wish they would address this. And yes, they did send me a replacement, but it is a refurbished watch, not a new watch. 2. The watch does NOT count long course meters swimming very well. When I do backstroke, and swim 50 meters, the watch thinks I did 100. Again, this is something that is a long-running issue and should be fixed.
